Frequently Asked Questions

Are Lashes Damaging?

No. Both lash extensions and lash lifts are not damaging. It can only be damaging if the lashes are yanked or the extensions are incorrectly applied. If you look closely, you'll see that the extensions are applied to the lashes one at a time. And as the natural lashes grow, the extensions will grow with it too.

How Long is An Appointment?

Full set lash extension appointments are 1 hour and 30 minutes. Refill appointments are 1 hour. You can see all our services, pricing, and duration here.

What's The Aftercare for Extensions?

For the first 24 hours, avoid getting your lashes wet. After the initial 24 hours, avoid using oily products such as face oils and oil-based spf. Other than that, just keep them clean with daily cleaning and brushing!

Can I Get Them Wet?

Yes. After the first 24 hours, lashes are great for the beach, pool, showers, hot tubs, and water sports. After they're wet, just pat the extensions dry and brush them out to avoid them clumping together from the water.

How Long Do They Last?

How long lash extensions last completely depends on your natural shedding cycle and lifestyle. The average person loses up to 8 natural lashes per day. But, improper aftercare may cause extensions to fall out faster. Typically, most of our clients' extensions last up to 4 weeks.

How Often Do I Need Refills?

Refills can be completed as often as you like! Typically, refills are every 2 or 3 weeks. Refills are necessary because the extensions grow WITH your natural lashes.

Are Lashes Heavy?

No, lash extensions should feel weightless. There is a variety of thicknesses that our lash specialists can choose from to make extensions feel as comfortable as possible. The thicker your natural lash is, the thicker of an extension your lashes can hold. Vice versa- the thinner your natural lash is, the thinner the extension will be.

Are There Different Styles?

Yes there is a variety of styles to choose from. Your lash specialist will consult with you on what would look best for your natural facial features - but ultimately it's whatever you want! Our most popular styles are natural classic, or fluffy volume cat eye.

What's the Difference Between Lash Lifts and Extensions?

Lash lifts (commonly paired with tints) curl your natural lashes and last up to 6 weeks. Lash extensions are actual hairs attached to each individual natural lash and last up to 4 weeks. Clients who have naturally long lashes that want a natural look typically prefer lash lifts. Otherwise, lash extensions offer more customization and can alter the length, thickness, and darkness of your lashes - dramatically or naturally changing your overall appearance.

How to Remove Lash Extensions?

In the instance you don't want to let them naturally fall out, you can come in for a removal. During a removal, a gel or cream remover will be used to dissolve the adhesive which will painlessly allow the extensions to come off in less than 15 minutes. If you are unable to come in for a removal, clients are suggested to take a hot shower then apply a generous amount of coconut oil along the lash line for 20-30 minutes. The steam will loosen up the adhesive and oil will break it down. At home removals may take a few tries and risk accidentally pulling out natural lashes - so we always suggest clients to come in. Removals typically occur when there is a reaction or sensitivity towards the extensions.

What Is A Brow Tint?

Brow tinting is a temporary solution to darkening eyebrow hairs. Brow tints are waterproof and look the most defined for up to a week, although the eyebrow hairs will stay dark for up to 6 weeks.

Is There A More Permanent Option of Brow Tinting?

Yes, there are plenty of options for longer term perfect brows such as microblading, combo brows, brow shading, and more. To see more details on these services, go to "permanent makeup" tab on our service menu here.

Does Permanent Makeup Last Forever?

No. Although it is called permanent makeup, the colors fade over the course of years. The pigments and procedures used with permanent makeup is not nearly as permanent as a regular tattoo. How long permanent brow, eyeliner, or lips last depends on the aftercare of the client and their lifestyle. Clients are suggested to book a consultation to discuss expectations and get all answers questioned before scheduling the actual procedure appointment.

What Are Other Permanent Makeup Options?

We currently offer permanent eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip blushing. Click here to view our full service menu.
